Around a year ago, I looked in the mirror and almost had a heart attack. It felt as though I was looking at my face for the first time! I noticed fine lines everywhere, especially the 11s in between my eyebrows. Is it possible to age overnight?! How did I not notice all these lines before? Shock

I can gracefully accept the fine lines as a natural process of aging but what really freaks me out is what happens to my face when I smile. I get these weird fine lines EVERYWHERE on my face. I’m NOT talking about expression lines. What I see are tiny lines all over my face, especially on my cheeks, eyes and nose. It’s difficult to describe but if you imagine the way mud cracks in the sun, you’ll get a good picture of what’s happening to my skin. My mother’s 60 and even she doesn’t get anything like that on her face.

At first I thought it was dehydration so I started drinking about 2 liters of water everyday along with a tablespoon of omega 3 oil. I also started moisturizing daily with Oil of Olay Regenerist and exfoliating with Oil of Olay Cleansing Cloths. I also started using sunblock daily and Dr. Kassy’s vitamin C serum that I found on the DIY forum. But it’s hasn’t really helped Sad

Am I just a freak of nature? I’ve been studying faces of people my age very carefully lately and haven’t ran into anyone whose face crepes up like mine. I am a 32 year old Asian with somewhat sensitive skin.

Let me add that I’m in the middle of a divorce and have been under an immense amount of stress. Could this be the reason for my skin crisis? Do you recommend I see a dermatologist or an esthetician? Should I upgrade to more expensive skin care systems? If so, any recommendations?

Please please please any advice or a link to an appropriate thread will be greatly appreciated. Thanks you so much!
