I found this link thanks to Skin Care Talk, so kudos to them. I don't post on there any more as I found some members quite, unfriendly, shall we say, and asked for everything to be deleted. NEVER done that on any forum!

It'swww.assetchemist.co.uk I was thinking of using this as an alternative to ADC as I have such a nightmare ordering from them (cards blocked). The last time a kind member of SCT let me half postage with him via Paypal.

The postage on Assetchemist is £3.95 and they are actually based in the UK, for a change. Lots of .co.uk pharmacies seem to be based elsewhere.

I read if you tick the "NHS" option the order should go through.

Here's some examples: Retin-A: http://www.assetchemist.co.uk/search.php?q=retin-a (RETIN A GEL 0.01 60G £8, and RETIN A GEL 0.025 60G, also £8 ). Differin is on there too.

They also have Efudix on there in 20g and 40g sizes (yep, I may do the Efudix horror story all over again!).

My question is, is the site safe? I've had dodgy transactions on my other card which I suspect is due to one or two Indian pharmacies.

What about voucher codes? Though I realise that's a long shot.

I think to err on the side of caution I'll use a pre-paid card. They also do Zolpidem etc, as I'm a hard-core insomniac and can't get much help on the NHS Smile

I have no idea about that site, LJK, but I think it is always wise to use a prepaid card these days!

On the drugbuyersforum I read they seem to give it the thumbs up, so I went ahead and ordered (pre-paid card, of course) Smile

Hope it helps anyone having problems with ADC. The Efudix I got from ADC was 5% 10g for $5.04 (excluding the $22 delivery), they sell it in 20/40g 5% on Assetchemist, and the Retin-A is 60g tubes.

Having a browse to see what else they have under "Prescription", but it's 60+ pages long!

Efudix for anyone interested (though I think it's just Lagomorph and I who have experimented): http://www.assetchemist.co.uk/chemist.php?search=efudix

Edit: Apologies, UK postage is £3.75. £5.20 EEC and £5.90 EOW, which I presume means outside Europe.

Just as an aside, for UKers too, I truly think you don't have to buy "facial" microfibre cloths. I've used all sorts and a great one is the Tesco Value (3 pack) for just under 80p! Meant for dusting/polishing but they're one of the best I've ever tried! They're very thick and great for flakies.

Poundland ones are good too.

On SCT someone posted saying you tick "NHS" but I've just had an email asking me to send proof of my prescription! Confused

I emailed my doctor's details (apparently you can do that) so we'll see..

I'd assume it's probably ok to order Retin-A from without the questions/proof. I'll update if anything else happens.

Why don't you just ask your GP for a prescription? I've never had a problem with GPs prescribing it.

I would, but I ordered Efudix and Zolpidem, can't see my doctor approving EITHER of those! Confused

Another UK Retin A seeker here, has anyone ordered from here, and used the cream they're offering?

eta: Ah ok I can't post links. It's united pharmacies, and the cream is listed as;

Generic Retin-A® | Retino-A (Tretinoin) Cream - 0.025% (20g Tube)

Yes, I order from Unitedpharmacies for Zopiclone (they sell Careprost, otherwise known as Lumigan, though you can get it cheaper).

It's listed as a .co.uk address but they are NOT based in the UK, I read on the drugbuyersforum where but can't remember off the top of my head. Might cause problems if foreign transactions are blocked by your bank (I use a pre-paid card now, as I've had unauthorised transactions in the past with other pharmacies on my "ordinary" cards).

Alldaychemist, of course, are the cheapest, but previously my cards were blocked with them. I was lucky enough to halve postage with a SCT member previously.

I THINK my order has gone through, just had an email saying it's being processed. Phew.

Think I'll order Retin-A from there in future as the tubes are 60g compared to ADC's 20g, and the postage is cheaper. They only sell Gel which is a shame as it makes me peel much more, but I buffer Retin-A anyway (let it sink in for 30 minutes, then moisturise).

They sell Roaccutane too (considering that as an anti-aging tool, low dosage, though I'd have to lay off the peels for a good while!).
