Hello there,
I've been using OBAGI C&E for 6 weeks to help correct big brown patches (melasma0 on my cheeks. For the third week the improvement was amazing, almost gone, now on the 6th week the patches are back lo be darker, not as bad as the beggining but noticeable darker. I've been dealing with the pain, burn, itchiness pretty well, but now I noticed that a have many, randomly placed little, tiny "black" dots, the size You can only draw with a pen. They are defnitely not "black heads" that can be squezze out. I definitely didn't have these before Obagi. Has anybody experience anything similar?
Thanks for Your comments. |

I had similar experience while I was using Obagi nu-derm, but I had the dark patches and black dots after 3 month into the treatment. My dermatologist told me the skin was to dry and irritated and to stop exfoderm forte and clear for a while and to use jojoba oil in the morning. You could try that one, but I would advice you to see a dermatologist so he can see what the cause is and what your skin needs.
Wish you all the best with your obagi journey |

Hello - I'm in my 8th week of Obagi. I also started noticing teeny black dots on my face a few weeks ago. A pattern has emerged: I see a tiny black dot, I go after it with an extractor (I really can't help it), the skin turns red and sometimes breaks, and a couple of days later, it turns into a blackhead that is extractable! This has happened about four times so far on different black dots. So, I'm thinking that at least for me, the black dot is the very beginning of a blackhead and perhaps it's just more visible on my now thinner (?) and paler skin. Just a thought... would be interested to hear if anyone has had a similar experience. |
