Does anyone know ehere i can purchase Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate in the UK, please?
I would love to make my own oil-based vit c serum (or rather, add the oil soluble version of Vit C to the natural facial oil recipe i'm putting together, for a super-boost!).
I cant find Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate anywhere - can anyone help please? x |

I believe that lotion crafters ships to the UK. |

I am pretty sure bulkactives also ships internationally.
http://www.bulkactives.com/ascorbyltetraisopalmitate.htm
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, also known as Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, is a Vitamin C ester with better improved absorption and stability qualities. It is used as an antioxidant, a whitening agent (for skin lightening and brightening), in anti-acne formulations, and it promotes collagen production. Unlike absorbic acid, it will not exfoliate of cause irritation.

I am also from the UK and was unable to find a reasonably priced Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate from a Uk website, so in the end I purchased from Lotioncrafter which was a whole lot cheaper in the long run. They also ship very quickly.
The tetra C serum is really simple to make and effective, and once you get the DIY bug you will want to make loads of different recipes! |

Thanks everyone.
I was wondering if L-Ascorbic Acid would be easier to get hold of in the UK..
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced online supplier of LAA?
Sorry to be a nuisance - I'm super eager to make a VitC serum, but im not sure where to get it from that wont incurr large international postage fees? |

Sorry I don't know personally (in the US) but it shouldn't be expensive, I do recall some buying pure ascorbic acid from pharmacists. At the bottom or near the bottom of the recipe index are lists of suppliers including some in the UK.
