I just got back from South Beach and I was like, geez these latina women have the most amazing curves, ever...
Anyway, while my husband and I were driving around I saw there was a betty boop statue in front of a store and all of these pretty women were leaving and entering the store so I told him... STOP.. I need to check this place out.
SOOOO.... I walked in and the sales lady/owner spoke only spanish, thankfully there was this Venezualan beauty to translate for me...
I pointed to my mid section (I am 150lb., 5'7" post pregnancy apple shaped woman)... and said, can you fix this?
She grabbed this latex slimmer thing and I swear I instantly looked 2 sizes smaller and have the most beautiful curvessss....
They are called fajas in spanish... the brand I bought is Ann Chery... google it, buy it... ITS AMAZING...
Oh and since I have lost weight... I wear it everyday all day... |

ok...I'm interested. I've never been overweight, but I've never had a waistline either, and now that I'm menopausal, I am even thicker in the middle. Which model did you get? They all look similar but one claims to reduce your waist by 5"! ouch! I'm looking at the Classic Shapewear website....m, which one? |

Fajas (pronounced fah-has) are the old fashioned girdles. My mother wore them. They were like the old fashioned corsets, but in a latex. I wonder if these are an updated version? |

I'm probably considered in shape but my waist/hip ratio has never been the hourglass variety -actually I have narrow hips and a more round butt. The butt thing is ok these days but the no hips makes me look straight. Not keen on wearing a girdle. Do you wear it with slacks, dresses, everything? Maybe something for special occasions. |

Is there only one version to help w waist? I don't need that at all but I would be very interested in something effective to compress and lift bottom and thighs.
edit: just checked website. Has anybody tried the bottom lift stuff? Would be good to find out if it works well. |
