I got an email with a 25% discount code for Folica to buy the Emjoi Light Caress Epilator for only $45. It's already on sale for $60 on the web site. I could not pass up on the sale. Plus it's free shipping. I really couldn't turn it down. So I ordered two, one for me and one for a friend. Is Emjoi a good epilator?

I have had 2 different Emjoi models over 10 years (I broke the first one...my fault). Love them!

BTW, I prefer using a corded model because it goes faster.

Are you able to share the code? Or was it a 1x use? I'm looking for a new epilator and have been looking at the emjoi's.

I don't see why not. Try missyou910 and see if it still works.

Thank you! I almost went with the rechargeable unit, but didn't want to deal with the battery if it stops working like my camera battery that is just dead now despite my trying to recharge it all the time.

GirlieGirl, does the code work for you? I think it's a non-specific code for 25% off anything not just Emjoi. Lemme know.

I have not yet attempted to use it but I did see that same code posted on another site too. I'm trying to decide if I want to go cord or cordless.

I thought about the cordless one, too, but went against it because I know that the rechargeable battery will die out one day, and then I'd have to buy a new battery, and didn't want to have to deal with that. Plus Bethany confirmed the corded one is stronger, so I think that would work best for me. Very Happy Let me know if the code works for you! I don't know when it will expire though. I used it the same day it was sent to me. It's such a great deal!!

Just curious...

I tried 2 Emjoi products. I had the red one (cant remember the name) and actually downgraded to the basic white one because I read better reviews...

Both are awful. I use them on my legs and I have to shave after.

Is what your referring to just a better model? Or am I just doing this wrong. I hold my skin and go up and down my leg AND in small circles... I do have thin blond hair.

thanks for any help

The hair on my legs very fine (thanks to years of epilating) and its also blond. The combo of these 2 now make it very difficult for me to get a good epilation. I have to do it in sunlight to be sure I see all the hairs and have to go over the areas several times.

I'm planning on buying the emojoi that Natalyn bought but just havent yet.
