Jolting, Pressure Reps and Cross Stretching are all very advanced discipilines that I don’t’ think most people who begin FlexEffect should add to their routine straight away, as it kind of needs a persons face to be used to handling aggressive stimulation techniques. Having said that, there is no need to do it all in one day. For many of my advanced students who do it, they do one evening with jolting, the next with maybe pressure massage etc. These tools do not need to be done daily, and if anything the face copes better with them if its given extra recuperation time, but as you will have seen from the demo’s on the dvd, they don’t that long. Particularly jolting – takes me only a matter of minutes to jolt my entire face and neck. Same with pressure massage or pressure reps (especially if you do the quick successive pressure reps).

Timing is very much open to individuals to be creative with, but the basic resistance exercises can be done in 12 minutes (using the first workout track on your cd), then that gives you some time to do whatever you want. You don’t need to do everything at once, some people do the resistance exercises in the morning and then maybe jolt/pressure reps in the evening before bed but incorporating massage when cleansing/moisturising etc.

Your probably get better answers from flexers re timing in the 3rd edition workshop – plus more help with any queries you have with it.

I sometimes just do jolting and pressure reps and I never spend longer than 5-10 minutes and can do my whole face. Other days I do just resistance exercises. I don't think any thing should be set in stone as we all respond differently to different things but thats must my opinion of course!

lucyluc, i love the jolting and pressure reps...and do them at night lying in bed before i fall asleep (Deb recommends that the pressure reps are down lying down)they really take no time at all..it's just a question of learning and becoming comfortable with them.

I think its a great point to emphasise here, but they really do not need to be done every night in fact doing so could overwork things, and thats never a good thing.
