I love candles and burn them all the time. I think Gold Canyon Candles are the best. They burn evenly and completely and have the best scent throw. (just wish they weren't so expensive. Rolling Eyes ) My favorites are Banana Bay, Pomgranate, and Warm Welcome.

So far my favourites are PartyLite (where they do the home shows) ... they have a really nice high concentration of fragrance oils. And also, Yankee Candles seem to be really good. Since PartyLite is harder to come by, I have been buying Yankee Candles alot lately. I like that they come in glass containers too.

All natural beeswax candles with cotton wicks such as those made by nuns in WA.

Some parrafin candles are toxic so I prefer soy or beeswax.

I love Diptyque candles - they have a pretty strong scent that seems to spread well throughout the house. Pity about the price Confused

I like yankee candles - we don't have a lot of choice over in the UK, and that is one of the few brands which is readily accessible and has a nice variety of scents. I love French vanilla - yum!!

I love candles, esp. when I can get nice ones cheap. When I'm having a bad day and not in the mood to do serious retail therapy I cruise Marshall's or Ross (US discounters) for candles. I've snagged some nice Bill Blass and DKNY stuff for a song!

Bought a few Party Lites candles from a g/f years ago after she held some little party. I really like Yankee Candles though, smell and size.

I like soy candles from Virginia candles. They don't seem to have a lot of smoke and pollute the air inside. I really like their vanilla scent.

Wow...I havent tried many of these. My favorite is White Barn Candle Company. They are the candles sold at bath and body works. I used to work there and while I did I became HOOKED to Fresh linen and their halloween candles (they smell just like candy corn). I have really gotten away for candles after I purchased my Lamp Berger. They are fantastic. I have lots of animals and this thing totally gets rid of any smell.

I love the range of candles at Space NK, however for affordable everyday candles I tend to stock up on habitat scented tea light candles. My current faves are the mixed bag of vanilla, sweet almond & chestnut tea lights - divine Smile

I'm not that particular about candles, so I'm going to watch this thread to get some new ideas. One of my requirements is that the candle has to be in a glass jar or similar container, so that the wax drippings are contained -- I hate cleaning up candle wax (even if I put things in the freezer, or hot water, etc.)

I currently own several from a company in TX (Dreamer's Candles I think they are called? Plumeria scent from this line is my favorite) and Yankee Candles.

I am burning my Yankee Candle 'french vanilla 'at the moment.

I'm a bit of a joss stick burner as well, and some times oils, it depends what mood I'm in as to what fragrance candle or joss stick or oil I burn.
