Hi Claudietta - I have been using the AALightstim for almost 3 years and still love
it. The amber, red, and infrared do a bang up job for toning color, smoothing out skin, helping with fine lines, and stimulating a little collagen. However your best bet is take some time and read all the threads on those 3 light devices! DiPhx |

IMHO there is no comparison between Lightstim, Prolight Platinum and Quasar. I have all three (actually my mom has Quasar), and the only one that actually makes a difference is Lightstim.
I now bought one for my mom as well.

hello sigma!l've a question why is the baby quasar your favourite, if you can see quickly result with AAL ?
is it maybe because baby quasar have green light too?...but if u cannot see same effettive result with it , why is it your"mom"?it would be AAL your mom, since u said that it work....
this is a very interesting topic, the why u will answer will Clare up my thoughts...cause this are questions l've asked to me right in the last 2 months
so thankyou since now if u'll explane better this question to me ..
ps
l've talika amber light , but l do not know l'm not in simphaty with it...also cause it is only amber light, and l need red and infrared too....maybe also green
the thing l love about baby quasar is that u put it directly on your skin , so that the light can work better
also the green light is important, haaaa l'm super confused
ok l'll stop here he he he
xoxox ! |

claudietta,
From reading sigma's post the lightstim is the AALS and that is the one she feels works best of all the ones she has tried. I also believe her mom had the quasar and sigma bought her the AALS to use instead.
If I am mistaken I am sure she will clarify, but that's what I got from reading her post. |

sorry l've assume right now that your mom have B Q maybe it were so early in the morning and was still asleep, but probably my bad ennglish is the reason of this misunderstood ...sorry!
but what about the green light? l do know that AAL and prolight have not green light...maybe l could buy AAL and a separate talika green light...
l do know l'm terrible (:
ps ...it seems green light is good for dark spot and for boost collagen too |

Ciao Claudietta - mio marito e italiano! (Bordighera, Liguria). And your written English is miles better than my written Italian!
Allora; when I joined EDS over a year ago, I jumped on the band wagon with a number of things (over a long period, not all at the same time) - you can see the long list in my signature. Some things worked, some didn't. But from everything I learnt here from these wonderful women and men, my skin is now better than it was 20 years ago.
However the only device I didn't rush to buy was any of the LED's. I just didn't believe they could work. But after much reading of peoples results (and some non-results), I decided to buy the AALS.
I've used it twice now - the first night, I didn't notice anything (except marks from the bulbs which last hours!) but last night.... well, I don't know if it's cumulative or because I used a green tea spray but my skin was definitely plumper.
As I said before, my skin is looking good nowadays and I only bought the AALS to maintain rather than fix anything and was worried by the darker skin factor (allegedly LED's don't work so well with people with darker skin and mine is a mid-olive) but it definitely has done something with mine. And I'm not someone who thinks everything I buy is a life-changer. I'm quite critical. But despite my cynicism of whether the AALS could do what lightstim and fellow EDS'ers have said, I've now seen it for myself.
Maybe you can wait a month and I'll let you know if this was a fluke or not; I can tell you exactly how it goes for me. I'm also going to do my hands as my skin is quite thin there.
Anyway, this isn't going to help you decide which LED to buy but just my personal experience with one of them. Believe the hype!! |

Hi, I didn't know that LED's don't have much effect on darker skin. I'm African American, have light skin which has some freckles since childhood. I haven't been using my LED that often because my skin is also dry, but when I do, I notice my skin looks and feel better, and more toned. I also like cupping/suction for my skin and regular facial massage. I have several gadgets but finding the time to use them, is another matter all together . |
