My main target is my Lower Cheeks and I'm doing "Cheek Raiser", "wink" and "cheek press adv"
My lower cheeks to have too much fat and I want to define my lower cheeks with a lift.
Am I on the right track?
How long till i see results?
Also should I do it twice a day or just once a day? |

Tasha, those look to me like FlexEffect exercises (by the names) and so I'd really suggest you don't do whats called SPOT TRAINING. Instead, visit the forum there to get better advice but don't do them twice a day, and don't do just those exercises. You want to include the massage part too!
No one can really answer your questions on the information you've given us alone without knowing how old you are etc.

Do your research before doing any program! You take a big chance when you spot train, sometimes you look worse than before! |

Hi Ladies.
I'm 25 years old and even though I look young "baby face" I feel i have too much fat in the lower part of my face. I looked into getting a midface lift but that cost around 2k so i decided to do some research on facial exersise.
The ones i am doing are from flexeffect and i have been doing them for about 2 weeks. i have been on there forum and even researched on what targets the lower face the most.
I dont like how the lower part of my face has no jawline structure and about last year 9 months ago i got juvederm uouplus in my cheeks. it gave me a pretty good look but im sure the fillers are gone so now im back to doing this.
please help... All i want to a cheek lift to reduce the fat in the lower part of my cheeks and give me more of a round but define look
thank you |

But what your doing is whats known as spot training and thats never a good thing, as Dickymoe points out. I'm sure none of the trainers would recommend that to you there - they often say that to people (and I've done spot training and had to reverse it at times so believe me when I say don't).
If its the lower cheeks, maybe you should try Tanaka. Also are you doing the lower cheek massage?

I agree with TheresaMary that you should seek expert advice. You probably don't want to go to anything dramatic before doing that...
Btw, just tossing this out there, but I suspect that Tanaka massage does not cause fat to be lost in the lower face, but rather the accumulation of lymph fluid that happens to many with age. After all, the purpose of the Tanaka massage is to improve lymph flow and reduce stagnation, and it's harder (at least for me) to see how it would cause fat loss. Just like the undereye bags on most people are due to lymph build-up, not excess fat, and massage can reduce them. Just a theory I want to throw out there. |

Claudia from FE here...
Please do not spot train. It's a recipe for disaster. ESPECIALLY if you're not versed on the facial structures, and how you respond.
The most important component to training your body, and I believe your face as well, has to do with regard to symmetry. You don't ignore your body parts when you train. you learn how each part responds to varying exercises, and THEN you adjust. People that skip this step, are usually dissatisfied with results. They are the ones who do crunches for days, and wonder why they still have belly fat. (if only... huh???)
If you're concerned about over build in certain areas, just go at them slower. Since you do infact own FE, please utilize your training log as prescribed, and hit the workshop for questions.
Best, |
