I've just read the book "Never be Sick Again" and am on a quest to rejuvenate my health.
The author has allergies (so do I, lots of chemical and environmental allergies and I have constant allergic sinusitis) and was on his death bed until he detoxed his liver with Vitamin C.
I need to find good quality supplements at a reasonable price. I have used iherb and have looked at bulkfoods...any suggestions are very much appreciated!

I only use a very limited set of manufacturers, who do not use the fillers, and other problematic ingredients/processes during the manufacturing - Premier Research Labs, Standard Process, Perque (and a few more like this).
Also, ideally supplements have to be selected for you based on your body/issues by a qualified practitioner. For example, when I needed digestive enzymes about 12 different ones were tested and only 1 of them agreed with me; while all of them were of excellent quality. Same applies to the dosage.

Hi MaryClaire,
I've been seeking out supplements that are free from toxic additives for years (I especially avoid any that contain magnesium stearate and/or stearic acid).
I've found that New Chapter products are additive-free, and their supplements are excellent. Also, Paradise Herbs products are excipient-free, along with Premier Research Labs (Quantum) as Sigma mentioned.
Relatively new on the market is a totally excipient-free line of supplements from Garden Of Life. It's their Vitamin Code line. All the Vitamin Code supplements are "raw" (i.e., not processed with heat, in order to preserve the enzymes and other delicate nutrients). If you try them, make sure you purchase the Vitamin Code Raw line, because Garden of Life does have other supplements, some of which contain magnesium stearate and other noxious additives.
Hope this was of some help! |

I used to buy products from this site:
http://www.gethealthyagain.com/index.html
I stopped just because i feel i don't need it at this period of my life.
They have huge range of products for every imaginable cause and, what i like the most, each product goes with detailed explanation of what exactly it does. |

I live in the UK and there is a company called health leads who make supplements without magnesium stearate. Nearly all thier products are additive free, but I know there are a few low mcg and mg supplemnts and organic rice flour is used, which I think is pretty good. Prices are higher than average but I think it well worth it. |

I like the brand "Pure Encapsulations". Good quality, no fillers. |

Sure Organics only carries filler free, organic and vegan vitamins. They offer several brands but, weeded out the cheaply made vitamins.
They also carry supplements, minerals and super foods.
Good site check them out. |
