Hello!
I was wondering if someone could recommend an eye cream for nighttime. I am 39, fair skin, with some fine lines starting to appear under the eye area. I am looking for a heavy duty type of cream, not so much a light cream. During the day I use Murad Essential-C w/ SPF 15 eye cream and Cellex-C Eye Contour Cream Plus. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I was going to suggest Cellcosmet eye contour cream which is a nice cream that moisturises well without being too heavy. Mabsy would be able to tell you more about this La Prairie eye contour cream is richer and more emolient. Having said that it hasn't given me milia. HTH |

Wish I could help but I haven't been able to find a heavier eye cream that really "did" anything. Still stuck on Nivea. I used to love Clinique's SubSkin Cream but they discontinued it. Their All About Eyes is also nice but just not as thick as the SubSkin cream was....I'll be looking forward to the answers you get from others here... |

At night I use my Rose eye oil and/or Camellia oil, during the day I use my creams, Bobbi Brown hydrating is very nice. |

I just started using Babor's Sensational Eyes and so far, I like it a lot. I've had no dryness at all. As it gets colder, I want to take every precaution against dryness. This product has virtually no scent and a little goes a long way. |

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I ordered the Babor Sensational Eyes and can't wait to try it out. Thank you again!

I can see you've already ordered, but I just want say that the Babor HSR lifitng cream is also very nice. I've only tried a sample and I noticed results within a few days. I only had light dehydration lines, but this cream felt wonderful. I am tempted to buy a full size even if it's a 101 CAD for 30 ml..... |

The Babor Sensational Eyes cream is a very good eye cream (has become one of my faves at least) but I do not think that it is super rich. It is actually quite light in texture as far as creams go (perhaps just a bit thicker than the Cellcosmet cream?) but it is moisturising so I hope that this will be enough for you. If not, you can always get a serum like Eye Bright from CSRx that has HA in it and use that under the cream around the eye area.
As far as rich/thick creams go, I would say Shiseido Benefiance would be one, Rose Day Cream (which can be used around the eye are) would be another, and to a lesser extent in terms of the richness - Valmont Nature Taking Care of Lips and Eyes cream. |
