So, I have a problem. I'm 22, and my cheeks are sagging. I'm not just imagining it, if anyone cares to see, I can show pictures of me before and after it started happening. It's not much, but I'm no dermatologist, and I'm pretty sure a 22 year old should not be sagging at all, even a little.
I do not have any autoimmune conditions (I was tested). I do not have metabolic problems, and I do not have thyroid issues. Just 3 years ago, I did not have this problem at all. Needless to say, if there is nothing wrong with me, then I'd love to find a solution to what I can only presume is very very unfortunate premature aging. My parents both look young for their ages, a further reason that my poor aging leaves me very dubious. Again, it's the kind of thing that wouldn't be noticeable unless you compared pictures side-by-side. Still, it bothers me.
I've heard of copper peptides and facial exercises. What should I go for? |

copper will not lift your face but face exercises will help... |

Stress, lack of sleep, weight loss, poor diet, dehydration, and even too much exercise can contribute to sagging. Often, and especially at your age, it is temporary and corrected once the cause is addressed (more sleep, drinking water, less alcohol, etc ).
It sounds like you went to a Dr to have autoimmune testing. Did they have any recommendations or suggestions?
Face exercises are a good suggestion. Plus wear sunscreen as excess sun exposure could make it worse over the long term. |

Is it sagging by your mouth and jaw because of excess fat? |

If it is sagging caused by ageing and not other factors like those listed above, I deeply recommend facial exercises WITH copper peptides. My mum looks at least 5 years younger with that - with significant reduction in sagging. |

Hello MisterLurk Maybe your diet is causing it? Did you lose weight "suddenly"? Losing weight in such a very short time is not a good idea. Gradual weight loss is more ideal so your skin can adapt to the change. However, it may also due to lack of sleep, stress, unhealthy lifestyle.... Exercise (or facial exercise) can help firm up those "sagging" muscles... For facial exercises, you can go to YOUTUBE. There are lots of videos on facial exercises... Do some exercise that you enjoy on a regular basis... Drinking lots of water will keep you hydrated too... And don't forget sunscreen when going out to protect your skin from further damage.... |

I would try facial exercise before anything else.
22 years old is young for this kind of concern.
Do you party a lot? Have a heavy schedule? It might be a matter of too much stress and not enough rest, or overindulgence in the "funner" things of life. |
