I tested this today and was amazed at how it worked but it's too much at $115. Is there anything that is similar to it? I would like something that isn't too fragrant or fruit.
I think the Asian lines would probably have something similar. Basically, it starts off as a gel and you keep rubbing it on your skin and then it liquifies and then you rinse off. My skin was so soft! |

Aloette enzyme Peel,
It says fruit because it's using fruit enzymes, doesn't have any potent odor I can't deal myself! I have used this for years and it works exactly as you described. 39.95 for 2 oz. It's a great product at a much better price, all the Aloette products are Aloe based.

No the Guinot is more similar to the Sothy's Gommage which is a fine product too. The Valmont is a gel that you massage and then it turns to a liquid. There are no beads or scrubby bits or cellulose fibers that slough off. It just goes watery and then you rinse it off. |

sakura, are we talking about the same product? my Guinot does not have any beads! My skin would not tolerate any beads or scrubby bits or cellulose fibers. I use Guinot and Valmont interchangeably and see no difference. Both are watery gels that become liquid and both are good for sensitive skin.

The Guinot description states there are micro beads and polyethelyene spheres. That means beads. They may be small but there are also two Valmont scrubs. One is from a line called Nature with a blue and white packaging. That one has no beads.
The regular Valmont is green and white scrub has beads in it. |

Yes, I'm using the one from Nature line, and it does not have beads, just like Guinot. My skin cannot take manual exfoliation at all
