I came across this brand of organic skin care products, Sevani, and I was wondering if anyone has used this line or has heard anything about it.

Just joined and although I know your post is a bit old I had to respond to this question regarding Sevani skin care products - especially since no one else responded and - I LOVE them.
Sevani is a new brand but is totally cutting edge when it comes to utilizing natural, organic and vegan ingredients to create the same efficacy as other, more well known but much more toxic brands.
When I found Sevani I was so excited. The prices aren't horrible for what you get, they're certified cruelty free and, like I said, they're totally vegan - a big piece for me.
I'd definitely recommend you checking them out
sevanibeauty dot com
And, I believe this is the only certified reseller at this point - theskinspecialist dot com
(sorry I'm new, the system won't let me link directly out to these pages : ) ) |

I have been using the Alpha Lipoic Omega treatment oil and I love it. It has sea buckthorn oil in it. |

Never heard of that brand - which means nothing! Are you always sure to check your cosmetics on SkinDeep? Its a nice website that can help with ingredient identification - it's what led me to Sevani too as I've got wicked sensitive skin and have to be really careful with synthetic ingredients.
Glad to hear you found a brand you like.

I should have said I am using the Sevani Alpha Lipoic Omega. It's one of their products. |

I just switched over to this line after giving Dr. J. Skinclinic a try. Products I've been using are the cleanser, Sevani Rose Hyaluronic Age Defying Tonique, Phyto-Peptide Firming Face Creme, Serum Vitale Essential Nutrient Oil, and Eye Repair Age Defying Eye Crème. They eye cream has helped with wrinkles and I also ordered Ageless Eyes to alternate with. I love how these products smell, reminds me a bit of Evan Healy. Oh, I also got the Argan oil which sinks right into my skin, hands, etc. Most oils I've tried don't sink in but Sevani does which is a super plus. |

Well, I'm definitely curious about the eye cream now! How long have you been using the eye cream, WhiteWolf? Is it heavy? When you say it has been helped with wrinkles, do you mean that they are diminishing? Sorry for all the questions but you know how it is... enquiring minds want to know!! |

WW, how is the Rose Hyaluronic Tonique? |

Hi...I've been using it about 3 weeks and I *think* I've seen improvement on wrinkles but not much for eye bags. However, I've had some early wake ups and lack of sleep lately so taking that into consideration. It's sort of smoothing and has caffeine in it which helps with tired eyes though.
I first read about the eye cream on TruthinAging and it was a toss-up between that and ReLuma which they mention as well. Since I'm going through some medical stuff (still, long story but it's nothing bad) I opted for something more natural and/or organic.
The eye cream is a bit milky but sinks in, I haven't had any issues of it causing dryness like someone mentioned on the TIA review.
Here's a quick ingredient list:
Acetyl Octapeptide
Caffeine
CoQ10
Retinol (vit A) (Retinyl Palmitate)
Green & Red Tea
Hyaluronic Acid
Gotu Kola, Rose & Licorice Root Extracts
Neem & Neroli
I'll report back in a few more weeks and let you know how it goes. I also like the fact that they donate a portion of proceeds to animal welfare organizations and such. |

Hi Rileygirl It's very different and I thought it was a regular toner but it's a spray. It's soothing and smells amazing but I don't think it's a "cure all". My Mother in Law bought it because she suffers from rosacea and uses it along with their Rapid Renewal Resurfacing Crème. (She saw my skin when she was staying here and ordered lots of stuff, all my fault, haha.) I'll have to check in with her since she's flown back home to see how her rosacea is doing but before she left she did mention that her skin was calming down. I'll go and email her. |

Hi, WhiteWolf! It sounds great. Please let me know what your MIL thinks of it for her rosacea (and thanks for going to check with her)! I love my roman chamomile but cannot use it daily as it is too drying, so I am looking for something like this! |

I heard back from her but sadly she says there's been no change in her skin. She was also using Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrate which didn't help much either. She's an unique case though, a year ago she was bit by a poisonous spider and that's when she started having problems (not just her face but her hair too). So maybe it's time for her to see a dermatologist because she used to have great skin till that incident.
Rileygirl, can you layer an oil over the Roman Chamomile to help with dryness? I've been layering the Sevani oils over other products and it seems to work fine. |

Oh, I am sorry that happened to your MIL, WW. Wow, it definitely sounds like she should see someone if her skin condition got worse after the spider bite!
Thanks so much for reporting back to me. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to matter what I put on top of the roman chamomile. If I use it daily, I get dry, flaky skin! Anyway, keep reporting on how the Sevani works for you! |

Thanks for all the details, WhiteWolf. Looks like it might be a keeper! I'm nearing the end of my current eye cream stash soon so am very interested to hear how you make out with this one.
Yikes, that's not great for your MIL. Hopefully whoever she sees will be able to help her sort out what's happening with her skin and hair. |

I got the Ageless Eyes and it smells amazing. I've never used oils before as an eye serum so this is a first. I'll post back how things go. Normally in winter (especially walking on windy days) my face gets very dry but so far it's been good. I think these blends are agreeing with me. Note: I'm not using these products for age spots/hyperpigmentation since I need to avoid certain ingredients for awhile (due to medical stuff). |

Wow, so nice to see so many positive experiences with Sevani. I'll add mine to the mix!
After I posted here a while back I started using their eye creme in addition to their aha cleanser. Both amazing and I've seen really incredible results. My acne is clearer and the dark circles and bags around and under my eyes given to me by my 2yo and life in general : ) are gone!
I can't get over the fact that all these results (better than many conventional products I've tried) are all based upon totally natural ingredients! I'd definitely (and do) recommend Sevani natural beauty products. |

If anyone's interested, Sevani is having a 15% off sale, code: PUREBEAUTY.
I've been trying the Ageless Eyes on my lips now and when I use it under my eyes, it helps my concealer go on much smoother. So I've ditched my longtime love of Shiseido Benefiance Concentrated Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream for Ageless Eyes. |

I absolutely LOVE Sevani products! So far I have used 5 products. Every one of them I will not be without now, nor will I use anything else. The products are gentle but very effective for my skin. I have not had a breakout, my skin tone is more even. I am getting comments from other friends telling me I am looking younger and more "refreshed" I owe it all to Sevani products. |
