It's good to hear this. I have a bottle, but haven't tried it yet. I was worried about knocking *all* the body out my hair, when all I really want to do is get rid of frizz.
How long did you leave it on your hair?

Also, did anyone hear or read reports as to whether this caused a lot of damage to the hair?

Following the treatment my hair is straight and still with body. I have thick hair and this makes it more manageable and flowy.
I followed you tube instructions and I did it on a Monday night and didn't wash my hair until Thursday night (I calculated around 70 hours with the stuff on).
I did not use the Brazilian brand (from the drugstore but I did buy the hair care products to use after)- I used Global Keratin - same as secretly.
I know some women who do this at the salon somewhat regularly and they are into their second year and no complaints. I use a spray before I flat iron to protect the hair shaft - trying to potect the ends as my hair is past my shoulders. |

I agree to stay away from toxins, eliminate them if you can! I wouldn't do this tx to people on regular basis either, but for me this is a poison that I choose to expose to but very infrequently.
I got the Coppola Keratin Complex Natural Keratin Smoothing Treatment at the same place, Style Bell.

I wanted straighter hair and the other wasn't getting the radical kinks that I have out. But.........it def made my eyes and nose water horribly. So next time I'll have a friend do it outside.
I'm really happy with results and I feel the same way, I'll be really unhappy if I ever have to go back to frizzy hair. My hair feels really soft and swingy, love it!!! |

Hi secretly! I have used Global keratin twice this spring/summer and it has been such a blessing in the humid summer - I actually love my hair - it's soft and lays nice with good 'swing'. So easy to deal with - ahhh...
But....
If you're telling me the Coppola is better I'll definitely use the Coppola for blondes next time. Thanks |

What'r you using?
Yes the Copola is more efficient at losing the frizz I think. Also I wasn't using enough conditioner before, I was using Shikaii organic S/C but now I got Brilliance cream and some other leave in stuff too along with Keratin S/C.
My eye problem is really sucking and that's why I'm not online as much. oh well my hair looks great even though my eyes suck!!! |

Right now I'm using Silk Elements heat protection spray. I have used a CHI product and also what works well is a shine mist - I've used Kenya and Paul Mitchell. It tends to work the same. I don't spray alot and try to focus on the ends.
