Hi!
I am new here. I am 59 years old and really have pretty good skin, with the exception of large pores on my nose. They bother me so much! There is quite a difference between the pore size on my nose and any other place on my face. I know it's gotten much worse over the years. What is it? Aging? Sun damage? And what can be done about it? Are lasers effective, or is it just a case of spending a ton of money and it didn't work. I've heard Retin-A might work. I guess I'm interested in what other women of about my age have tried. Thank you! |

AA Lightstim reduces the size of my pores. I'm too lazy (not that it takes alot of work but...) to use it all over my face but I do use it on my nose atleast 3x a week. It really makes a difference for me. |

I know what you mean. I am 56 and have always had the large pores on my nose. I like to use Paulas Choice 2%BHA on my nose. Keeps my nose clear and eventually they will appear to look smaller. |

I do think that enlarged pores in middle-age are a different issue than enlarged pores when you are younger. They are not clogged with oil/sebum, or whatever. They are clean, they are just too big. I think it has something to do with aging, and perhaps sun damage contributes to it? |

Actually the Light Stim looks interesting. Does the AA in AA Light Stim stand for Anti-Aging? Is that the same model as the Light Stim for Wrinkles? Anyone else have any experience with it? |

The LightStim is a favorite on the forum. Here is one of the more active threads:
Anti-Aging LightStim

Welcome to the forum.
ETA: Interesting--it looks as if the Anti-Aging version may have been re-named as "LightStim for Wrinkles" as you mentioned |
