Hello all! New to the forums but have been following for a while for the awesome product recommendations and advice, so just wanted to say thanks in advance!

I'm 28 and have been using various skincare products since I was about 19. I've had a history of adult cystic acne and so my major issues with my skin are: nasolabial folds, scarring/icepick scars, shiny/oily skin, and undereye area darkness.

After many years, I finally settled on the solution to my acne: consistent moisture and Retin-A.

Now the challenge I face is that I've been a stomach/side sleeper and have some rather deep nasolabial creases (worse on my right side) that I just can't seem to get rid of.

I've been working low-carb/sugar diet into the fold, along with retin-a, daily yoga practice (for stress/health), and Fraxel Restore IPL laser treatments (every 4-6 months) for the past 3 years or so. This has definitely given me an improved tone and clarity, but those NL lines persist and when my skin gets shiny throughout the day, they look even worse.

I've started to look into other solutions such as Facial Exercise and Angellift, though I cannot find much reliable information on the latter. I've seen a lot of other solutions here such as green smoothies, dermarollers, and other supplements. Been trying to learn to sleep on my back.

I'm not certain where to start considering my age and don't want to overdo it and potentially damage my skin and what, if any, of these solutions might be "going too far."
My skin is pretty 'stubborn,' thick and resilient when it comes to changing.

But I thought I'd start by asking here what might have worked for others. There are a lot of threads on f.e. but it's all kind of overwhelming.

My current skincare regimen:
Cleanser: CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser

Day: 20% Vitamin C+Ferulic/hyaluronic acid serum + Pristine Beauty Hooray for Brallywood Buttah (indoors) + Hydropeptide Eye Authority
OR Cetaphil Shine Control SPF 30 Lotion (outdoors)

Night: Retin-A .1% gel under Vichy ActivLift Nuit + Hydropeptide Eye Authority
Weekly/Bi-Weekly: Microderm using DIY exfoliant w/ hydrating cleanser, eminence Fruit Pulp AHA Peel + Paprika Herbal Mask.

Cannot upload any images but I'll gladly share via PM if that is helpful.

Cheers!

Hey if you cant sleep on your back ive heard of a pillow i think its called save your face pillow and it allows you to sleep on your side but dont crease your face up as much into it.

As for anything else i dont know alot about this unforunately. One thing i know can help plump out the skin is red led light it helps to improve collagen and also microcurrent may be an option? That helps to tone the muscles under the skin and has some skin stimulating properties along with it which i believe can help reduce lines etc. But it may be you wouldnt want to go down that route. But im not sure how much they wuld help the NL lines Sad Ive just recently started to get deeper NL from flossing my teeth :/ which is highly annoying and im only 24. So i may have to start looking for a way to stop them in their tracks.

Oh something has just sprung to mind! Look up Frownies or taping your lines whilst you sleep or when you are alone and dont mind looking a bit silly with tape on your face which keeps them smooth and less likely to crease up. I think that would be a good one to try actually Smile

As for everything else im not sure what to suggest.

Hope you find an answer x
