I would like to try a home 20% TCA in the approximate area of the botox (crows feet and under eyes). The area is kind of slack there.

I'm only 25 but I have thin skin and would like to build up the collagen, and I figure if I do a slight chemical peel now and use botox preventatively, I can avoid more aggressive and painful stuff later!

Anyway I have a high pain tolerance and am not bothered by the stinging, but is 20% too strong? Should I dilute it to 10%? I don't use retin a or anything like that, neither do I smoke and I use spf 60 sunscreen. Thanks!!

Probably Botox is enough for you since you are so young.

TCA always needs to be started carefully at probably a lower level than 20% due to your youthfulness and no skin preparation.

Retin A or consistent use of a retinol product could be a consideration in addition to the Botox. Retin A is magical.

Mmmm.... I don't think I would do a home peel so strong in the eye area. Changes of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation are too scary!

I think you'd be better off starting Retin-A. IT will be much better (and less risky) than a home peel.
