I'm purchasing my first roller this week finally. I'm wondering what the best thing to use after would be. Currently I have vitamin c serum, copper peptide serum and emu oil that may be an option? |

I'll just tell you everything I've done wrong so you can avoid my mistakes. Vitamin C serum is acidic and will burn your skin afterwards. Copper Peptides are great after. Roll but make sure you don't use one that hs BHA's in it like Super CP Serum from Skinbiology. That one burned my skin and made me peel much worse. The regular CP Serum from Skinbiology does not have any acids in it and it worked beautifully for me after rolling. I have never used Emu oil after a roll. If you are doing a deep roll with longer needles, I have read that you should not use emu oil because it reduces inflammation. You want inflammation with a deeper roll because it is part of the collagen building process. I'm not sure how well it works with a shorter needle roller.
Best of luck! |

I've used vitamic C serum after rolling but waited about an hour or so. When dermarolling is done professionally, it looks like they apply vitamin C immediately afterward, so I'm not sure. Then I used it every night for five nights afterward and SkinSignals copper peptides during the day. After that point I go back to my usual routine of LacSal at night. |

Ascorbic acids serums shouldn't be used after rolling but other forms of C can be used. |

I'm getting it done again today at the Derms office. Last time he only used a small roller, but today he has big bessy. He had me use a sunscreen with bleach after treatment the first time...after I stopped bleeding. And vaseline right after... |
