So I recently switched to Paula's Choice of the skin balancing line and I'm not sure if I'm reacting to it or not. But I've been using it for two weeks, and I started to develop these flesh coloured bumps all over my face. They're not pimples because they're not red of numb-feeling. I've had this type of skin a long time ago (it was some sort of fungal infection, which I ended up taking medication for), so I find it really strange that it's coming back up suddenly. I would take a picture, but it just doesn't show up in pictures for some odd reason. It only shows up under certain light and certain angles of light hitting my face. Ahhhhhhhhh should I go back to my dermalogica products? My dermalogica products didn't help with this condition either but it wasn't as much when I was using the dermalogica products... help????

Maybe they're non-inflamed closed comedones (called whiteheads, not to be confused with white-headed pimples), or sebaceous hyperplasia (enlarged oil glands). Going back sounds good, if your old products didn't cause that. Hopefully they'll clear up soon.

It could be irritation. Did you start the PC products all the same time? Maybe go back to your old products until your skin returns to normal then introduce only 1 PC at a time to determine which one is causes an issue. Atleast this way the PC products wont go to waste.

Also try contacting PC customer service. I've found them very helpful in the past.

It could be from something you are eating. I started getting something similar to that I later found out I was allergic to sushi!

i think you are allergic to this skin care but it is also possible for the food you eat (however if it is related to food, you may get the rash instead)

you should stop using the "new" skin care and change to to mild basic, non oil based lotion. stop "feeding" your skin with a lot of nutrients, for example serum.... concentrate... mask ....

and see how it will go for 1 to 2 weeks.

if it is whitehead, the bump will get "harder" and you can almost see like a blackhead (refined) but in white color.

I think it may have just been a reaction to using all PC products at once as a poster mentioned before.. My skin is getting better and the bumps are getting smaller. However, my face looks very dry in some areas, even though it's not actually dry so I may need to change my moisturizer.

Yeah, sounds like a reaction if it's suddenly cropping up after using new products. It could be an allergic reaction, or maybe it's just clogging your pores. Try a clay or egg white mask to draw out impurities, and gently exfoliate. If this removes some bumps then they're likely to be whiteheads.
Have you tried similar products before, for example if they contain high amounts of AHA/BHA, have you used products like that before? It may just be that your skin is too sensitive to handle the products.
Either way I suggest you stop using them, and contact customer service, perhaps they can give you some advice.

What kind of sushi were you allergic to?
kind of curious because I eat a lot of sushi and you can get some make with soy paper and grilled veggies and that is yummy.

or else I like the sushi with grilled salmon and shallots.

is it the seaweed u r allergic to? raw fish?
or maybe the fish has some preservatives in it??
