I've been using the Cosmedix Rescue Balm for atleast 3 years now and have been very impressed with the results. With my upcoming wedding in May, I decided to complete my Cosmedix beauty routine by using the cleanser.
I found that it leaves the skin on my cheeks with a nice feeling but unfortunately while washing my face, I have been used to using my face wash on my forehead and the cleanser gets into my eye area when washing off. With other cleansers, this has not been a problem, however with Cosmedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser, I experienced a tightening and a pulling of the skin around my eyes and extreme dryness resulting in wrinkles (hard to explain but I know everyone has wrinkles, but these appeared overnight and aged me by 10 years!). This is the only change I added to my routine - which I probably should not have so close to my wedding!
I stopped using the cleanser but I still have the same condition around my eyes and do not know how to fix it in time!
I have never had this happen before and would like to know if anyone has had the same experience with the cleanser - I'm afraid it is permanent?? I need advice on how to rehydrate my eye area |
