Topical actives to add to your regeime are Vitamin C, glycolic acid, and Retin-A (I have rather tough skin though so try adding them gradually). Also do not forget weekly microdermabrasion and peels to help smooth them down a bit. |

I have just made Kassy's 15% Vit C,E,FA w/HA serum, so hopefully that will help. What kind of weekly microdermabrasion and peels do you suggest? |

I love Makeup Artists Choice (MUAC) even though they charge $30 for postage to Australia it is still well worth it. I'm a very results oriented person and have never found anything even comparable over the counter when it comes to peels and alike. The products are very cost affective, quite often they have have sales for 25% off. Look intowww.makeupalley.com.au most of there products have received a score of over 4 stars.
I couldn't live without the Micro-Polish or the Radiance Peel (a combination of AHA and BHA) it is quite gentle yet yields noticeable results. Before attending a function/party i'll combine the Micro Polish with five drops of the 50% glycolic peel they sell (this may be to strong for you, so work up to it) and rub it in gently for three minutes (applying more water when it feels hard to rub around) the result is comparable to Microdermabrasion from a salon (from the appearence of the epidermis, however due to no suction not to sure what's going on underneath) for really glowey smooth skin.
I would recommend purchasing the radiance peel, Glycolic peel 30% (you want to start off gradually), and the Micro Polish. Alternate between the Radiance Peel and the Micro Polish every second night. Prior to going out mix five drops of the Glycolic Peel with the Micro Polish and rub it in for one minute (you can work your way up but you dont want to over do it).
Let me know about your results? |

Echoecho,
Thanks so much for the information. I never thought about adding a few drops of glycolic acid into the mix. I also have "tough" skin meaning that it can be non-responsive. |
