Why do they tell you to wait 6 weeks to see results with products?

I think this is why people jump from one product to another, expectation of instant gratification? Nothing that gives lasting results works overnight!

Because skin cells take 4 (and often up to 6) weeks to turn over. So generally speaking (with a few exceptions), the condition of your skin now is a result of what you were using 4-6 weeks ago.

Or longer depending on ones age. Can be up to 8 or so weeks the older one is!

My very unscientific rule of thumb is to add one week, for each decade past 30.. Laughing

Needless to say, I spend plenty of time ramping up the exfoliation..

It works though, and the proof positive for me is comparing the skin from the chest up, to the skin on my legs (which is woefully neglected.) Day and night I tell ya.. Sad
