I pulled out my samples of this line since Avalange's post. They are very nice products and I think they smell great. Definitely not for those sensitive to scents, though.
Has anyone used the eye cream? This is one of my favorites of the samples I tried, but I would like to hear from people who have used it long enough to see if it made a difference in lines? |

Very expensive but I'm sure being a (somewhat) cottage industry it must be that way. Also, I'd say she's trying to appeal to an elite, educated, sophisticated (rich ) consumer). $75.00 for cleanser is crazy but I'd love to try it. |
I didn't think that she could grow that many things on her "farm" it sounds very ambitious to try and grow or make even just one item that contains 50 ingredients.
I'm also curious if the items are still made on her farm?
I know I keep on seeing her line in magazines often and with the demand I would think she has a lab now make the products?
I would like to try her line sometime, but it is a bit out of my budget.
Maybe if someone gave me samples I'd try it |

Hi Avalange, I have also been using the Tata Harper line and the serum has quickly become my all time favourite skin care product. The effect I am getting is plumped up skin which remains hydrated for hours, less sensitivity, less break outs, more even tone and more radiance. I love the scent and texture of it and have recommended it to all my friends. It is magical stuff. |
Have you or anyone else used the Reparative Moisturizer? I wasn't actually given the whole line, in fact--just the apricot cleanser, the hydrosol, the mask, and the rejuvenating serum (not complaining, tho'!). I have a little sample of the Reparative Moisturizer, but it's so teeny, there's no way I'll be able to tell if it will do anything for my skin. She needs to make her samples bigger! I wonder if Spirit Lounge's samples are larger in fact.

Is there a store near you where you can go in person and ask for samples?
or does she even sell a sample kit?
I know when I used to go to a few stores that sold cosmetics (dept store, and a drugstore that is like sephora but Canadian) the employees would just have a bunch of small empty sample jars and would use the testers to give samples and were quite generous.
so maybe try that is possible or can you email for samples? |

I'd say samples are available for purchase. |

I have not found free samples - you can buy them on a few sites. Maybe if you facebook *like* her you can ask.
Very expensive.... It's designed to appeal to an elite, wealthier clientelle who like organic, non-toxic products. Not your everyday tree hugger - that's for sure. |

They sell the line at SpaceNK at Bloomingdales. I got a sample of the eye cream and the rejuvenating cream and I really like them both especially the eye cream. It seems to keep my under eye hydrated all day. |

Agree. The eye cream is my favorite of the products that I tried and I am buying a full size of it! |

The eye cream sounds lovely but the $90 price tag for a 15 ml bottle is way too pricey, IMO. If you do decide to try a full bottle of the eye cream, I would love to know how it compares to other eye creams that you really like that are cheaper. I know you have tried a lot of different eye creams over the years and I believe we look for the same things in a cream.
For me an excellent eye cream will:
1) hydrate the under eye all day
2) visibly reduce fine lines
3) firm the skin on both upper lids and under eye area (a HUGE plus)
4) reduce any puffiness
A challenging list to be sure. Do you know of any eye cream that fits the bill? |

I think that I have tried every eye cream out there and have been trying to find one that doesn't irritate or migrate into my eyes. This one just seem to sink in and lessen the lines. I really did not want to like it but it really seems to work for me. |

Cookie - I have sensitive peepers as well and can't handle any product migrating into my eyes either. Other than really liking the Tata cream, what other product do you like a lot or have repurchased that wasn't as pricey? |

I emailed them directly about the samples and they are "free", you just have to pay the 12.00 shipping cost! |

I know you can buy two types of sample kits on her website. The kits are supposed to come with about 10-12 days worth of the entire facial regimen, however I found that certain products in mine lasted longer. The eye creme was one of the products that lasted me more like 15 days, the mask lasted longer as well. But I do try to make my samples last as long as possible:) |

Truth in Aging gave the moisturizer a "thumbs-up." http://truthinaging.com/face/tata-harper-rebuilding-moisturizer I have samples of the eye cream and moisturizer, I'm going to give them a try. A sales associate I spoke with at the SpaceNK where I live (same place as you cookie) said that the moisturizer was the product that she saw the best, most immediate results with. She said it gives the face a nice lift and glow. |

I want to hear Riley's take on the eye cream after a few weeks of daily use. It is expensive - yikes but if you can get months and months out of it and it's "All That"... Well ...
I use Karin Herzog in the morning (Cp's at night) and haven't found a cream I like better but I'm open-minded |

Scotslass... I also like the same eye cream as Sister the Karin Herzog one and the Kiehl's avocado eye cream but sometimes that one can puff out my eyes a bit. I do use the Duchess Marden anti wrinkle serum and I like it but my makeup smears with it. The Tata one just seems perfect but expensive.
Jom... which moisturizer is the one that the SA said gave the nice glow? |

Thanks, cookie. I liked the KH eye cream as well, but not enough to repurchase (too pricey for a cream that I thought was good but not great). I've sampled the Kiehl's and had a similar reaction to yourself. As for the Duchess Marden, I came across the anti-wrinkle serum at a local Winners (aka, Marshalls in the US), but stupidly put it down and never saw it again. I'll make sure to hold onto the bottle the next time I see it, so thanks for mentioning it.
Wish it was easier to get Tata Harper samples up here in Canada...hopefully Holt Renfrew will carry the line one day. |

I see no reason why not. I just have no interest in spending a lot of money on samples and would prefer to receive them gratis from a beauty counter locally. |

I am not sure how to describe it other than very floral. The serum and the water are especially strong to my nose. It dissipates quickly, though. |

Thanks. Given the whole natural non-toxic profile of this line, I guess I would not have expected much of a scent, but I can put up with anything -- even medicinal or excessively floral -- if it dissipates quickly. There are a lot of high-end products that are so heavily perfumed there's no way I'd ever buy them. |

Sorry, I was on vacation and just returned this week!
I love the eye cream--it's definitely one of the standout products of the line. I am still in honeymoon stage with Osea's Eyes and Lips, though--I think it is the ever-so-slightly superior product in my opinion. It hydrates AND firms, whereas Tata's eye cream just hydrates really well. I definitely noticed that my undereye area stayed hydrated ALL day using this eye cream--even in mid-winter--and I have a tendency toward dry skin.
I hope that is helpful!
