Hi

Can anyone help with how to make lip lines better. I am looking for a good cream but would also like to try something a bit more than creams. Some treatment or something. Nothing as inavasive as laser resurfacing for the downtime or dermal fillers that only last a short time but is there anything other treatment.... not sure what there is out there.... is ipl skin rejuvenation one that could help or anything along these lines. I really would appreciate some help or what others have had success with. Its really making me so depressed. Its not like is lines on my forehead that i can hide with a long fringe Sad

many thanks

Sally

I believe Kassy erradicated her lines above her lips with a vaculifter (in addition to looking ridiculously good for any age, she's one of my ESD heros). You may want to check some of her posts.

I do not have any lines there so far, but I do have a vaculifter and while its too soon to see any real results, it brings a ton of blood flow to the surface and my face glows as a result. Anything that gets circulation going is a good thing in my opinion.

Have you tried Kandis Lips2Kiss products? Lots of info on EDS on her products. I have had good luck with her products.

Definitly look into dermarolling as you want to help rebuild the collagen in that area. There are a variety of dermarollers available and the size you use will depend on how often you use it in order to get results.

I recommend regular massage, cupping massage (like the vaculifter), and facial exercise. Best wishes Smile

What products are you using at present or what have you tried in the past? The two products that performed best in the 'Anti-ageing Beauty Bible' are both from Clarins (extra-firming lip & contour; moisture replenishing lip): the authors suggest applying these treatments to the whole lip area at night. Or you might try hyaluronic acid, internally as well as externally. There is a thread on plumping the lips with such food supplements: if your lips were slightly fuller that should stretch the surrounding tissue? HA also helps boost collagen production.

I noticed that lines, incl. lip lines, are softer when I have put oils on them for the night. It plumps them up. I use a mix of avocado and rosehip oil, with some buckthorn. Also massage, dry brushing with a toothbrush and the upper lip exercise by Senta Maria Rungé make the lines appear softer and less deep for a while. But for a more durable solution I am going to try dermarolling and hope that will do something good.

Ipl was great for me for discoloration and capillaries, I don't remember it helping fine lines.

But a couple of years ago I had a deep vertical line above my lip and its gone now. I think what did it is oral Neocell hyaluronic acid capsules and collagen. I know they helped the fine lines at the corner of my eye. Taken together, they plump skin. The ha was also good for my eye health, I stopped having "floaters."

Sally,

I mentioned on an earilier post about Lips2Kiss products. I did not get rid of the lines above my upper lip...HOWEVER...I have reduced them by 80%. I use the lip products plus the Face2Flaunt pruducts. This I can live with! Now if I could just stop my pouting and sleep on my back I could see more improvement I'm sure.
