I am seriously considering getting laser for my acne scars because nothing has worked. My acne scars are like holes in my face or small craters. So my skin surface isnt smooth. What type of lasers did you do and did it work?

I would suggest you to use some acne creams or solution instead of opting for laser treatment.

Topical creams and solutions won't do a thing for depressed/atrophic acne scars, with the exception of topical estriol or topical estradiol (google to find some studies that show either topical caused improvement in acne scars). Some studies show topical tretinoin helps that type of acne scarring, but other anecdotal reports say tretinoin can actually make acne scars appear worse. Depending on the type of depressed scars you have (rolling, box car, icepick) either subcision or punch graft treatments, or simple excision, may be better choices than lasers. To get adequate improvement with a laser, you'd need aggressive treatment, and that comes with the risk of further scarring and a long downtime of severe redness. I'd avoid lasers.

I had fractional c02 laser done a few months ago. Even with an aggressive treatment like this you still need 2- 4 treatments to get a really good improvement. I had a small improvement from my treatment but the down time is really extensive. It was 6 weeks before the redness really started to fade. If the down time was not so long I would do another treatment.

ITA that topical will not help. Although something like a silicone make up primer can help lessen the appearance of irregularities.

Give a try for chemical peeling before moving to laser treatments.
I would suggest using Skinceuticals Retinol 0.5 cream every other night and the stubborn scar will gradually fade faster.
