Hey, I am new here and have been watching over this forum for a long time. I want to try light therapy for both acne and anti ageing. Would somethink cheap off ebay (hong kong) be effective or would i need somethink like baby quaser power pack. I'm unable to post a link as to what i mean.
Thanks |

Hi Bmc2727
To be honest, I would be hesitant to use a LED lamp from a dubious manufacturer.
I've read some posts by a medical doctor who claimed LED lights can cause damage to your skin and eyes, if the devices are not properly constructed.
See below a thread from a rosacea support website. Dr. P.Crouch is a medical doctor, specializing in Rosacea skin disorder:
ww.rosaceagroup.org/The_Rosacea_Forum/showthread.php?9176-LLT-and-LED-induced-1st-degree-burns-and-flushing&p=131578&viewfull=1#post131578
(I can't link to other websites as I am a new member. Just type out the address of the link, adding 'www'.)
I would go for a FDA approved device. Better safe than sorry.
