Can somebody please describe how this stuff is normally supposed to smell like?
Skinactives forgot to give me my tracking number when I bought this product so I emailed them requesting a tracking number. They sent me the tracking info and what do you know, the product had been sitting in my mailbox (apt) for nearly 33 hours in 100+ temps .
Well, I came home and immediately refrigerated the product and shot them an email asking if the product could go bad because of the temperature. They told me to smell the product to see if it smells good or bad. That's where I have my problem, I have no idea how it's supposed to smell. |

I've used this product in the past, but can't remember what it smelt like.
I think what they're saying though is that if it smells completely revolting, then chuck it! |

The collagen serum has a woody/earthy smell. It is not a mild smell but it is not VERY strong. Send me a note at jonatan@skinactives.com if you think that the smell seems off and we will replace it. We make fresh batches every couple of weeks but it is possible that if the product is exposed to strong heat that it can go bad. |

Its slightly medicinal/vitamin-y if I can make up a word, but not unpleasant at all. Doesn't smell rancid or anything, but it is unique. |
