I have searched the forum and have not found anything recent regarding my problem. I do not have deep rolling scars but, what seem to be very shallow irregular scars. I beleive from reading this forum, that it may be thinner skin resulting from frequent exfoliation. Since they are rather shallow I do not want to do anything drastic yet but, would like to get rid of them.

Would dermarolling together with Red LED lights be a good combination treatment? Has anyone had good success.

I have seen many threads regarding LED brands and there are many opinions is there a concensus as to which is best price wise? I already have a dermastamp and dermaroller.

Dermarollers are good for acne scars of all types. There is a long dermaroller thread here with lots of advice on technique, frequency, etc.

There is some debate on whether using an LED after rolling is good. The dermaroller generates inflammation which triggers the skin healing mechanism which is what helps to fill in the scars. Not sure what frequency you are rolling but you may want to do the LED at least a couple days after rolling.

Good luck, it does take time and patience, expect six months before you see noticeable results.

I agree with ShastaGirl - keep on with the Dermaroller. I believe LED treatments are great, but require time and dedication. Most of us here like the Anti-Aging Lightstim. I've just ordered a DPL because it's a panel device and treatment times are quicker. Haven't received it yet so can't comment on it - but in any event, I will also keep using the Lightstim.

Also, consider using Retin-A.

There are no quick fixes, no magic wands - but if you use proven topicals and good gadgets, over time you should see improvements.

Maybe its just me but.....

If I was scarring from overdoing something, I wouldn't immediately be looking for more stuff to do to my skin. Scarring is a sign that something is causing injury, rather than just an inconvenience. My impulse would be to give my skin a break and maybe apply some Vit E oil.
