Hello!
I was prescribed locoid lipocream for mild dermatitis on my face. I was on it for 34 days and now am tapering off. I do not want to cause any rebound symptoms. I have not used the cream for 2 days but last night my face was a little flushed. I do not have rosacea, but is redness after stopping a topical steroid cream normal?
How long will this last?
I plan to use it every 3 days, then every 4, every 5 and then stop. I do know that topical steroids used for a prolonged period of time is not good. I do not have any bumps, just some mild redness. I look perfectly normal now, the redness just flares up from time to time.
I was signed on here as another user before but decided to change my screename.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks! |

What has your dermatologist or pharmacist advised? |

My derm said I can stop it cold turky and. I've been ok except for a little redness but would rather not have any red. I guess I should call my doctor back.
Thank you for replying! |
