Hello,
Recently I have developed under eye circles that I never really had before. I am dealing with some dry skin on my face-- I wonder if they're the cause of that??
Anyway, I am looking for two products:
1. A lotion/cream that will help reduce these circles and
2. A concealer to cover them up. Do I need to get a yellow-based concealer or will regular cover up do?
Can anyone help recommend a product(s)?
Oh that joys of getting older
Thanks! |

I will direct you to this thread, long yes, but great stuff. I don't have a dark circle problem so can't attest to how it works for that issue but I can say it's fabulous for flattening and tightening the under eye skin!! I never go without it. You can skim through to read if there are posts on how it works for dark circles. |

I've tried so many products but so far nothing has helped (yes, even the EES), I came across this article by Truth in Aging recently: http://truthinaging.com/eyes/dark-under-circles-causes-and-solutions. I'm going to try just plain gelatin next (thanks to the previous thread on here about this). Plus I placed an order last night from Lotioncrafter for Eyeseryl & Regu-Age.
I just recently got in a new concealer called "Ultrafresh Ultracover", so far it's pretty good. |

It would be worth getting checked out by your family doctor as there have been two changes to your skin health. Many people attribute issues to ageing that can easily be resolved. |

I don't know for the cream, but the concealers I like are Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer, MUFE Full Cover and Cover Fx cream foundation (not the concealer). |

Thanks everyone for your responses. I was actually diagnosed with mild rosacea (or so my derm thinks)... but I am not sure that I can attribute the rosacea to the dark circles.
Anyway, thanks for the help! |

I have been using The Dream Products Eye Dream Night and the Eye Dream Lift during the day and it has for sure helped my dark circles. I also had fine lines and the puffies and they look better too. Very happy with this small company's products. I found them on makeupalley which had lots of nice reviews for them. |

For the concealer, I have the same problem. Recently, Maybelline released a concealer called "lumi touch" that acts as a highlighter. I heard many praises about it from beauty bloggers. But I think the touch eclat (you can find more reviews on sephora) have even better reviews (and the maybelline is the drugstore version of this product) it works quite well. Normal concealer only covers the area but this makes it look less noticeable since it becomes less "shadowed."
If you're not on a budget I recommend touch eclat as it's also a good all-around concealer. There's lots of color options too.
Beware of L'oreal's lumi highlighter as I heard it does a terrible job. I haven't tried it myself though.
As for skin care products... I'm still working on this myself too |

Try the Shisheido stick concealer, or the Touch Eclait. I've both. They are good. Stay on. The Touch Eclait gives it a nice natural finish. |

Hi everyone!
I a new on this forum but I have to reply on this one!
I had an issue with my eyes as well, dark circles and puffiness, and just wrinkles, but I have found my product!! After using it for 4 /6 weeks my skin is new! I love this product and going to stick with it,use it now for 3 months and still have a lot left in my bottle, you have to use very little of it, strong stuff,Elite Peptide All Eye Recovery, from Dicharitzi, using that brown bottle as well, especially for my forehead wrinkles and crowfeet, worth to have a look at it.And if you'd like to have a very quick fix for puffiness, use their eye mask, they look horrible, but very effective. The sent me one as a sample and I will definitely order them.
When having a bad night (or a drink too much) and still like to go to work looking fresh:-) |

Not sure about lotions or products but dark circles are often caused by too much salt in the diet. Also if you are eating something you are intolerant to then you will probably have dark circles. I would address these issue first as they can be your bodies way of letting you know that something is not right. |
