I'm making a very basic formulation with LAA, vegetable glycerin, and water. When I add the vitamin e, it doesn't dissolve and leaves globs. Any way to prevent this?
Also, does adding this before RA interfere with RA's absorption? |

Whose recipe are you using, does it contain any ferulic acid or an emulsifier? Vitamin E is oil soluble so it will not readily disperse in a water-based serum. |

I don't recall where it was obtained, but it is the ingredients that I listed above.
1/4 tsp LAA
1 tsp water
1 tsp glycerin
vit e capsule
What should I use for an emulsifier? |

You can use any of the polysorbates although I'm not sure if this recipe would require one of those. Typically it's the ones with an emollient oil such as jojoba oil that would require an emulsifier. |

I don't have access to any polysorbates. Could I just avoid the issue and break a capsule in my palm and apply after the vitamin c? I know it's kind of thick, but I'm using at night. Does the thickness of it interfere with the RA? |
