Hi, I hope someone can help with this problem? The skin on my temples (sides of eyes but near hairline) are crepey looking, with little red spots? Like little red bumps. Its driving me crazy. I don't know what started it, think it was either Osmosis Stem Cell or Replenish or else my Retin A. I have stopped using both about 5 days ago but the red spots are still there.
It starts at the end of my eyebrows and goes to the hairline. The rest of my skin is ok. I am in the process of looking for a antioxidant serum and a moisturiser,
I have been looking at these products, they seem to have some great ingredients at reasonable prices.

any thoughts would be really appreciated..thanks |

Sounds like you may have breached the skin barrier - once this has occurred anything you apply can irritate, even the chlorine/ fluoride in tap water. It is likely a combination of aggressive products caused this, not just one. What products are you using on or close to the rash at present (hair, make up, skincare)? Anything with sulphate surfactants, AHAs or other exfoliants, an alkaline pH, fragrance or parabens?
Try products containing as few ingredients as possible that will help repair the barrier function - olive squalane, ceramides, lanolin, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, calendula with allantoin etc. Do not wash your hair or apply a thick barrier beforehand. Just the bubbles of sulphate shampoos running down my arm set my atopic eczema off! |

Thanks for the reply. I have been actually trying not to apply anything on that area! I use little bit of rejuvenating oil (from NCN)
I use CP's, SS Cream and love it, I have been using it for about 12 months. Haven't changed my shampoo's. I really do think its the Osmosis and the Retin A.
Just guess I have to wait for it to settle down. I did try Infadolan as well, which is quite greasy? |
