i am not sure what i am done but all of a sudden my forehead and cheeks are getting fine blond(i'm brunette) hair all over it!! here is what is new that has been introduced to my body here lately: spring hill collagen/HA, evening primrose oil, and a supplement that has a blend of different herbs but mainly fenugreek(i have no boobs) in it. otherwise i haven't changed anything in my life/diet. this is a trip and i don't dare shave (but if i did what would happen ) i have just recently started taking care of myself as far as skincare goes and now it seems to have backfired on me. i have always always slept in my makeup but now i do everything right and i am now the new neighborhood sasquatch/yeti....i'm 33 and newly hairy....any suggestions?? |

I don't know sorry, but I have to tell you that I did the Fenugreek thing (for the very same reason as you ) and it did the same thing as evening primrose oil did - absolutely nothing!
Is there anything in that fenugreek supplement that might mess around with your hormones? |

is it a full moon
Sorry that was mean - I'd go with the hormone thing to. EPO should actually help balance hormones not throw them out of whack. Perhaps it is something else you are using like the herbs, do you know what is in them? |

try cutting out the fenugreek first and see what happens...I think that it has some kind of hormonal effect as Mabsy suggests.
Do not shave! It will grow back more obviously if you do. The other possibility is that it may be some hormonal inbalance that is with in you. I would maybe go and see the doctor as you could be over producing testosterone (we all make testosterone btw, just not as much as men!

hmmmmm, do you think its possible i was always hairy and now that i am on like day 9 of washing my makeup off at night i am just now noticing it??? anyway i will definately cut out the fenugreek and wait awhile and taper off the others if that doesn't help to see if it changes at all. |

you could be right, but then wouldn't you notice them in the morning when you washed your make-up off? |

Fenugreek is also taken by nursing mothers to help increase milk production, if it works (I've heard it does) it could effect your hormonal levels, imo. Have you googled for a correlation between the herb and hair growth? Good luck! |
