I just bought this about ten days ago and have been trying to figure out how to make it work for me. The label says "for all dry hair types"; my hair is fine and mildly damaged but not really dry. The first time I used it my hair hadn't been washed in days and did not work. Anyway, I used it yesterday but washed first with Renpure sulfate free shampoo, then put it on and it actually lathered up some and left it on a few minutes. WOW hair is so soft and bouncy! Shock My hair is normally oily the day after I wash and isn't today, very unusual.

It has a very strong perfumish scent but otherwise a great product.

I've been CO washing with Suave for 2 years and just tried this recently. Unfortunately although my hair looked great, it made my scalp itch. I do agree the fragrance is way too much and if it had not made my scalp itch I probably would not have repurchased based on the fragrance alone.

When switching over to a cleansing conditioner hair often has an adjustment period. I think often the amount of rinsing that you should do with this method is over looked too.

Conditioner-only washing or the equivalent means altering a technique you have perfected over a lifetime, Gretchen, it took me a while to get my head around the difference from shampoo washing! Embarassed It is weird - in a good way - how the 'lather' and 'squeaky clean' feeling are different from regular shampoo!

Heard about the new Ever- range on a couple of hair sites, and would definitely buy this if it was available in the UK.

I have dry wavy hair and have been co-washing for years. I was buying product online so I was thrilled when I saw the L'oreal Evercreme display.

I really like the fragrance and the fragrance does last. I would open and sniff first before buying.

Co washing really helps keep the frizz down and my hair feels much smoother. I believe it also helps colour last.

I paid $8.93 for a 8 ounce bottle from Wallmart.

UPDATE: I found the fragrance too much. I finished the bottle as I would mix with something else, etc. and did not repurchase.

For cleansing conditioners; drugstore
I like Tresemme naturals. clean smell and a little more moisturizing that Suave.

I buy DevaCurl no 'poo for coloured hair at Cosmo Prof. Light fragrance, no cones and lightly conditions. DevaCurl also has a no 'poo formula for curly hair but it has a strong fragrance of mint and rose.

DevaCurl is a a line of hair products designed by Lorraine Massey. She wrote the CurlyGirl book and owns a chain of salons.
