So I've been struggling to find the solution to my very active body and facial skin right now. Since going off birth control, I've had a battle on my hands. I am on a very strict diet, and lead a generally healthy life.
I've had minimal success with a few topicals, but nothing seemed to really make a lasting impact in getting rid of them, after over 7 months. Topicals just do not get to the root of the matter, although I know they certainly help keep things clean, and I wouldn't do without them!!
Then I went to my Naturopath and was given some powerful supplements that are kicking my body back to where it's supposed to be. Namely cod liver oil, a liver support supplement, and a fantastic (and expensive) probiotic.
As I've seen these marked improvements in just a week (yay!!), and am awaiting the results of my saliva hormone test, I was wondering if anyone has found a good moisturizer for the body (oily skin), that won't clog up the pores, and help soften the skin as the acne heals? |
