What did you sugar? Did you make it yourself and do it at home or did you go to a salon? Did you think it was better, less painful, or longer lasting than waxing? Please tell me your experience and thoughts on sugaring hair removal. |

I only did it once, about a week ago. It looked so easy so I just wanted to try.
It's a bit messy and not easy to get the consistency just right (the recipe on Youtube gave a very solid stuff, where you want to make a sticky thick caramel so I added some more lemon juice than the recipe said) but once I had that right, it was surprisingly effective. Bit messy though, so I showered afterwards to get rid of the sticky stuff.
The hair came off quite easily and it really isn't painful at all. Worth a try, costs practically nothing and the result is supersmooth. |

FWIW, I had a bad experience with the sugar Nads. Yes, it worked to remove hair and lessen the growth of hair, but the sugar in it appeared to damage my skin (maybe crosslinking?)...maybe it wasn't the sugar, but it took the places where I used it a long time to recover from looking damaged and drier. So now when I don't shave, I "sugar" with resins instead. |

Which Nads product are writing about. I never try from Nads but with Traditional Sugaring Paste this should not happened. I sugar for many years and did not have this happened ever, my skin is very sensitive. I know that salon professionals advice in summer after waxing or sugaring no sun exposure because your skin is very sensitive for the first 24-48 hours.
I did try home made paste and many store bought, and it happen that paste got stack to my skin easy, leaving small bruise. With new Sugaring Paste that I use for the paste year this never happened, simply because it is very easy to ménage between palms and no mess, even if tehnic is not perfect. |

I don't remember, as I used it years ago, but it was their sugaring paste. Yeah, not sure why that happened to me. |
