I am replacing my many capsules (Omega 3, CLA, and EPO- 6 total) with Barleans. I just took it for the first time today and YUCK! I took it straight off of a tablespoon.

For those of you who take this stuff, how do you make it more tolerable? It is much easier than taking all the huge capsules, but it tastes like ...well...yuck! I thought maybe mix it with a tsp of peanut butter...? I am also dieting so I don't want to add too many calories.

That is why I take my Whole Food Greens in caplets rather than powder, to me I would rather swallow pills any day over drinking what tastes like swamp water no matter what I try to mix it in! Embarassed

Some people manage it, but I have even tried V-8 (health food store version) which I love and it just tastes to horrible to me! Laughing

If there's a choice between powder and pills with any supplement, I always go for the pills. I haven't met a powdered supplement I like yet.

I used to mix the Barlean's in with yogurt which I would eat with cereal. Very tolerable that way. Smile

No, it's the Barleans Essential Woman product that I am referring to: http://www.barleans.com/essential.asp Smile

bullet875, I forgot, there is also an Essential Woman Swirl version that comes in a Chocolate Raspberry Flavor that you might find more palatable: http://www.barleans.com/essential_woman_swirl.asp

Thank you Havana,

I did not want that to be confused with the "Greens" which I know some manage, yet are extremely distasteful to me! Smile
