I'm 26 and noticed a vein going down my forehead. I'm dark so its not super noticeable unless I am under certain lightings. Never seen this before and its new. I know i have gotten lazy with my sunscreen and retin a lately. Is there anything I can do to remove it or make it less noticeable?

Are you talking about broken capillaries? Or actual veins under the skin?

I've started noticing a couple of blue veins around my orbital bone in the last month. It's obviously due to thinner skin in that area, that has been thinning out even more... I wish there was something to make them less visible, other than concealer.

Heredity determines the placement of and prominence of facial veins. Pick your parents well!

Other than having them surgically removed .. if that would even be possible ... using topical ingredients that thicken the skin like tretinoin (if you can tolerate it), and soy isoflavones might help.

Have you ever gotten Botox in your forehead? I have and I have that same vein. Some people have pointed out that Madonna has that vein and they blamed Botox. I don't know if that is it. That is the only reference to that vein problem that I have ever heard.

I have had Botox in the forehead and in the glabellar area and have been getting it over the years since 2003, no vein yet!
I am pre-disposed to facial veins, rosacea and all I can advise is the Yag and IPL's. Heredity for me, is the culprit and I work to prevent them as best as possible.

Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie also have those large protruding veins on their forheads. I thought it was just genetic.

I find the supplement Diosmin makes veins in my legs less prominent. You can read reviews on iherb.
