Do you use a spot treatment? If so, which spot treatment do you use, and what made you select it?
If not, what do you use for the occassional breakout? |

I use topical finacea every night all over but if I have a spot I will dab on either a tad bit more of the finacea, retin-a or biafine. It depends on how large, type, how long it has been there, etc. Once it is healing, the biafine works best to reduce the dead skin and redness, you don't want to keep irritating it. |

As soon as I notice a spot, a dab of pure, undiluted Tea Tree oil dries it up right quick. |

The best spot treatment for me is definitely Karin Herzog's Vita A Kombi 3!! It is the most miraculous blemish zapper on the market. Sometimes they will vanish overnight. |

I use Fresh Umbrian clay treatment bar. They have a serum also but does not get the same reviews so I have never tried it. I just wet my clean finger and rub it against the bar and use the clay to dab on the spot. I let this dry and wear it overnight while I sleep. I originally got it because the reviews on line at another site. This product has really made a big difference in my acne. |

I just picked up La Roche Posay's Effaclar K. I'll report back after a few weeks. I get the occasional hormonal spot here and there... and I've been going to the dentist lately and apparently my face hates latex (from their gloves touching my face) because I broke out from it.
If this works, I'm going to use it every week for preventative measures. |

My sons suffered from a lot of acne and the eldest one still does to this day, and he used to spend a fortune on spot treatments but you know what really made a difference and he even noticed it - was doing an aspirin mask on his face. Not sure why and can't remember where the recommendation came for that (might have been EDS) but it does work for him very well! |

I use acne treatments all over but when I have an especially bad pimple I spot treat with De La Cruz Sulfur Ointment 10% Ointment. It super cheap and works great. It does stink but thats the nature of sulfur. I bought it at walgreens but I think you can also find it at walmart. |
