Hi KateLewis!
I'm familiar with this one! I think the eye flash balm is more immediately effective that the beauty (face) flash balm. It's OK stuff - but there are much better ones out there (I think, anyway..) Years back I used to use the full Orlane line...their Morning Recovery Concentrate is excellent...as is the Anti-Fatique Recovery Mask...the morning recovery concentrate alone will really boost your tone and "wake up" your skin (it's a leave-on serum). Doing the mask (same application method as the flash balm) before applying the concentrate gets me awesome results!! These are two products I continue to use and really like. If I had to pick one I'd choose the Morning Recovery Concentrate...this stuff is great after sleepless nights!

I agree 100% with Pudoodles. Having tried both I find that they Eye Flash Balm is more effective. I don't think I quite see any results with the original Flash Balm plus it tastes metallic (don't ask!). I think Decleor has a similar product (Beauty Booster? something along those lines) at a cheaper price as well.

Pudoodles - Am I reading you correctly when I say that you're telling me that I should buy some Morning Recovery Concentrate? Smile Have you tried Valmont Renewing Pack by any chance? Just would like to know how (or if) the two compare.

Hi Mabsy! the morning recovery concentrate is great stuff - and if you been up late at night Embarassed and need to suddenly look rested - this works wonders Wink I haven't tried the Valmont Renewing Pack...is it good? I'm going to get the Dr H cleansing cream tomorrow when I place my order - I can't WAIT to try this stuff! I was going to get the Dermalogica micro-stuff but I am WAY too intrigued by this!!!

Hi Kate,

It's not bad, the only other one I've tried like that is Gale Haymen. If things have improved over the years I dunno, sure the other girls will sort you out.

I don't think I realized there was one for the eye area? I use the Beauty balm under eyes and around and on cheeks?

Oh YEAH! This is what I've been using after late nights to make my skin look decent. But I would like to try some other alternatives and compare. Sounds like the Orlane one might fit the bill - not too expensive either.

Looking forward to hearing what you think of the Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream. The Microfoliant is also very good - *sigh* so little time so many great products! Neutral

Will this even out the texture of the skin - including open pores?

The Flash Balm? Um, it made my skin look more "alive" but I've since found much better things. In terms of evening out skin texture - perhaps temporarily. It does act as a bit of a primer I think.
