My body skin is looking very dry and I hope that somebody can suggest me a good body moisturiser which doesn't contain a high level of oleic acid (I'm in the UK and suffer with seb derm that responds badly to topical oleic acid). I've been using a shower gel which i believe is drying out my skin and i would love it if anyone could suggest a method or a product(s) which can be used to cleanse and then moisturise effectively sensitive skin. I have been using shea butter for my hands and feet but it is quite rich to use on other parts of the body. Having read about the conditioner only approach to washing hair i wonder whether there are any similarly revolutionary approaches to washing/moisturising the face and body. My choices are limited because of the whole oleic acid thing so I'm prepared to try anything! I am using borage and shea butter to moisturise my face and lips and cleansing face with a cleansing gel which is tightening and i hate it (but can't find a non oleic replacement)! Sorry guys, i'm going through a bit of a tough spell at the moment and i'm reallllly stressing about all this stuff (can't you tell!) |
