| Retin A I am a Retin A girl for sure!! It is very drying and you need to work your way up as far as how often you apply and strengh. I have never heard of it giving you wrinkles and I have done alot of research. Now if you dont moisturize properly while using it your skin will become dry and look like wrinkles but once you get it hydrated retin a is the only proven topical treatment to reverse signs of aging. I love it alot try it out girls |

| I am an avid user of retin A myself. However, it is only available by prescription here in the US. Secondly, it is really strong medication and must be used properly. It can make the skin much worse if used too often or too much at a time. If one decides to use this stuff she should follow the advice of her doctor. If one is in a country that doesn't require a script, she should start with the lowest dose available two nights per week until the skin adapts to it. |

Ive also been on Retin A for many years and I started the race at full speed, I stupidly applied it twice a day thinking I was being clever but please people, start off slow and appy a small amount!!
Its forums like these which i thank for getting the knowledge, there was no way of knowing about the proper application of RetinA a while ago, my doctor was not very knowledgeable

| Don't forget sunscreen. You must be diligent about daily use of sunscreen while using tretinoin. |

| It would be unacceptable for me to tell anyone not to follow their doctors orders. However, I've seen them tell patients some really wild stuff; like retin A should be applied twice dialy. I too am greatful for forums like this one that tell people what a mess their face will be if its used to much too often. I have to be careful with it and I've been using it for over a year. The other thing is that when the skin is inflamed its more prone to free radical damage. |
