I have sensitive skin so I thought I might try those to exfoliate. So where can I buy those, I want to get the right ones to use on my face.

Thank you Smile

You can find pretty much anything at Google Shopping:

It seems like Amazon also has a few of them:

I live in Vancouver and had never seen or heard of muslin cloths til I saw Firefox (who's in the UK) mentioning them.

I looked them up, and it sounded like its the same as cheese cloth... which actually does seem like a nice type of cloth to use on the face.

I wonder if it's the same thing that you can get at a fabric store, or if it's something special just for facial use.

Thank you for the websites Smile

What the heck is a muslin cloth? I clicked on the link but it didn't really describe it.

Just one brand but has a description of their purpose. Smile

Kind on skin, these pure muslin cloths provide a gentle way to exfoliate skin and enhance daily cleansing. They slough away dead skin cells and impurities while stimulating the circulation.

DarkMoon,

I apologize if I missed it, but I don't see where your link discusses the different varieties of Muslim cloth.

It does not Veronica I just gave an example of what the use of a facial muslim cloth is. I thought that was clarified by "just one brand".Smile

I got my unbleached cotton muslin cloths on eBay very cheaply. It is the same stuff as at the fabric store, but they are stitched to be a couple of layers thick - you can certainly make your own if you can work a sewing machine. Although I haven't used a microfibre cloth for the face, I suspect a muslin cloth is somewhat gentler, because it is virtually impossible to give yourself a 'burn' by being too enthusiastic. That is not to say muslin is better, just highlighting a difference.

FireFox, usually, how long can you use a Muslin cloth before it wears out (let's say that you use it a couple times a week)?

Don't know because I haven't had visible damage yet, I purchased ten so I rotate them! So far they have lasted maybe a year of daily use. I launder them in a net lingerie bag in a washing machine because IMO the fast spin would be the highest risk for damage.

So, do you wash your face with it? I'm still not entirely sure how it's used.

I just massage in my cleansing lotion then use a muslin cloth and warm water to remove it. If I have any rough patches I might rub those a little more. I like the gentleness of the lotion, clean feeling of the water and texture of the cloth, light exfoliation without adding more chemicals.
