Hi,
I've been using the moisturizer+ concealer combo (bobbi brown) for about two years now. I recently noticed that some people also use corrector in between the moisturizer and concealer.
My question is, how necessary is a corrector ? Will it make a big difference from using concealer alone ? If so, should the corrector be the same color as the concealer ? I'm currently using Bobbi Brown's "Bisque" concealer
Thanks !! |

Correctors cancel out colours, if you have blue circles under your eyes under your eyes, for instance, you would use peach/salmon coloured corrector.
I prefer them to concealers, since I can never find the right concealer colour anyway, and correctors solve my problems and brighten the area under my eyes or cover hyperpigmentation. People say you should use concealers over correctors but I don't feel the need and don't like layer after layer on delicate eye skin. I might use a bit of powder to set it and call it a day.
EnkoreMakeup on youtube has done some great concealer/corrector guides where he shows which colours to use for what, and shows how to disguise discolorations on his leg. Its like magic! |
