I had to stop and crack myself up yesterday.
This summer, I have continued to research an off-label weight loss med that appears, based on the science, to be particularly helpful (if not miraculous) for menopausal women. Sorry, I do not have the links right now, but they are out there.
It is called bromocriptine or parlodel and is considered safe but accompanied by side effects: dizziness, nausea, etc.
Unfortunately, I am one of the 50% who experiences the side effects, so that led me to investigate administering it, not orally, but through a suppository or patch.
That led me to order a pill crusher and bioadhesive gel so I can apply as a paste to my vagina.
After all this, I had to stop and ask mysel: "What's next? Where does this stop?"
And then I looked at everything - the lotions, the potions, the rollers, the acids, the exercise torture devices.
I am hopelessly addicted.
BFG
- acknowledging the problem is the first step lol |

And then there are the enablers, like me!
Very curious what it is/does exactly and how it works out for you. I'm sure I will be slapping one on as well! |

peaked my interest! This is for what again? I thought you said weight loss, then you said (whispers) vagina..., any reason it needs to go there . I am sure hubby would be more than happy to help me with this experiment. |

This is what I found when I looked up Parlodel.
Elevation of dopamine levels may lead to a marked increase in sex drive, improvement in mood, alertness, learning ability and creativity. Known off-label uses for dopaminergic drugs such as Parlodel include sex drive enhancement and increased ejaculation volume, mood elevation, appetite suppression and fat loss.

I am most interested in using it for menopausal weight loss, but the side effects are really impacting me..hence the alternate delivery route.

Iwander if it is sold by ADC? Sounds interesting if you don't get the side effects that is. |

For anyone interested: All Day chemist sells Bromocriptine Mesylate (Parlodel) under a different name. 2.5 mg is $3.68 for 10 pills. The other site is $65 for 30 pills but this is for the brand name and ADC is generic. And there is the $25 shipping costs for ADC. Still if you don't mind generics it is a money-saver even with shipping costs and if use other stuff available at ADC it makes it an even more desirable option.
BF if you're trying to experiment this might be the way to go. |

I have not yet applied Parlodel topically, so I don't know yet how I will react.
I have only swallowed the pills and they give me nausea and dizziness.
