Hey, Gals,
I have tried Kose's Sekkisei lotion and toner around two years ago. But the toner contains alcohol which irrates my skin and I hates any alcohol product. I have been using it for a few week and no positive results at all. I stopped using it and sent them to my Mum. Amazingly my Mum loved them and she told me her skin brightened a lot and even the sun tanned freckles around her areas were gone.
So I would say everyone just has to pick their own products!
Good luck! |

I saw a new line by Vichy called Bi-White. On the package it stated it was effective for asian skin. The line consists of a cleanser, toner, spot treatment and moisturizer. |

why do u wanna whiten ure skin any way. I HATE being white and pale |
HaHa! Cutsie, I'm Causasian and thinkin the same thing about myself! I want smooth, clear skin w/o age spots but I want a slight healthy TAN! *huh?* Now if I'm not crazy, tell me!!! So I spend a fortune on de-wrinkers, de-spotters, whiteners and smoothers and tighteners and then another fortune on self-tanners and sunblocks and highlighters and bronzers and blush... All to get that healthy NATURAL look! AAAAAAAAAAck!
Nuts aren't I! |

Hi Maria1, i've tried Vichy's Bi-white too. IMo, it's not suitabel for oily skin and contains alcohol and parfum which is not good for skin in the long run. |

I ve tried this [SW+SS skin whitening soap. It really works! At first I thought it would be like all the other skin whitening products I have tried. But this is really different.
You can buy it from ebay.
Good luck |

Kose essence and Kose mask white gives me a satisfactory result. My skin looks brighter.
However, I'm still looking for one that is more effective. |

ww.godivaskincare.com has whitening products for the skin that are safe, from the licorice root,I am going to order a couple tubes, the co. is based in the philipines and a lot of the philipinos use this product because they are prone to melasma and this is supposed to safely lighten your skin very quickly. |

Kose Sekkisei for me! I love that stuff, it makes my skin look so clear and smooth. I don't know how well it works for actual whitening, but certainly, my skin is even-toned (I'm prone to having blotchy skin) when I use it and THAT is worth it for me, lol.
Godiva skincare.. I did use it, it does work, but I eventually gave up on it because I didn't like the texture of the creams, and I seem to be reactive to something (itchy red spots on my face after use) in their facial bar soap cleanser. |

Has anyone tried whitening products from La Prairie or Valmont? |

If you want fast results, you may have to take whitening pills. But they must be prescribed by a doctor. Apparently, you can see results in weeks! |

I haven't tried any Asian whitening product yet, but I heard that they are really effective. I am currently using NeuCell skin lightening cream and so far its working well for me. It reduced my dark spots and I am looking forward to have a fairer and healthier looking skin in just a few months (*fingers crossed*). Anyway, after reading through the whole thread, I'll try to recommend some of the Asian whitening products mentioned in here to my friends. Hopefully, they'll give it a try. |

I'm using Ponds Whitening cream for 1 year now. The price is very cheap compared with other whitening products but the result really out-stand on me. |

I second the Kose Mask but the effect is only temporary. Hence, more of a brightening then whitening effect. |

Shin Whitening?
I am figuratively 'at the counter' and I am trying to debate on:
1. Tablets: Shiseido Pure White W
2. Creams: Hada Labo Shirojyun Whitening Cream
or both-
Anyone have experience with either of these products?
Thanks! |

--- Kose temporary mask effect...
What kind of temporary? A dew days?
I keep wondering about whitening in general. After I achieve the skin tone I want, assuming I keep up on the UV lotions and what not, will my skin try to revert to a darker tone if I cease taking whitening creams/supplements?
Cheers! |
