Hello everyone!
Can anyone please share your make-up routine after an AHA/BHA peel or Retin A?
What make-up to use when your skin peels?
Are there any foundations or tinted moisturizers that help to conceal the flakes without making you look greasy?
Do powders make it look worse or better?
Thank you. |

I'd rather wait and not put anything on my face till all the peeling is completely gone as the skin is very sensitive.....

I think any makeup you use will only accentuate the flakes. I use Eminence Strawberry Rhubarb mask to get rid of flakey skin. I'm going to order a jar to use on my face as I start up peels/vit A this autumn. I'll be planning on applying in the morning as a day cream under my sunscreen/makeup.
Try to get a sample of it to see if it helps you. |

I used to get a lot of flakes with retin a. Not so much now, I think my skin has finally adjusted after several years.
For me, powders made it worse. Maybe try a serum with some oils. I do like the MVO sun protection oil, but it's expensive. I use an oil mix that sinks in and helps with any flakes. I also found that reapplying my sunscreen or a moisturizer midday made a big difference. |

BB cream.
I've been using Garnier BB cream light and it is good for flaky dry skin. |

Unfortunately, Garnier BB cream does not provide a broad spectrum protection. And it is chemical |

You can request samples with order through EDS. Your best bet is http://www.prettyskin4less.com/t-samples.aspx, you can get 3 (1/16oz-each enough for 2 uses) free samples and pay $4.90 shipping. You can also order samples (1/16th oz, 1/2 oz and full size) through http://www.buynaturalskincare.com/ (shipping to Canada is prohibitive at $45 though). |
