That is what I do, BUT I don't wear makeup (just eye makeup and lipstick which I remove with a makeup remover pad) so I don't have much to clean off. I rinse my face with water, sometimes use a little sea kelp bioferment and then the clarsonic. Works fine for me. |

I don' wear makeup and I always use a cleaner with the brush. Water can't get the oil and dirt off. |

You know a lot of people use the clarisonic with a cleanser, but because of its sonic capabilities you really want to use water with it as its the water part that does the job of carrying the sonic waves beneath the skin. I saw a dermo of this at the Vitality Show and they were great, they demod using the brush without water and then with water with a camera that was micro so you got to see the impact the water had. I've got dry skin so for me, I think water on its own doesn't cut it and would leave my skin feeling drier, but if it works go for it. |

Are you sure Clarisonic uses sonic technology? I think they are just banking on the confusion here. Like the "sonic" toothbrushes, the brushes just move at a high speed, no ultrasound involved. |

I don't have the knowledge but what I saw at the talk it was pretty convincing and they had cameras that zoomed in and showed graphics that were pretty convincing.
The toothbrushes may be different, but the clarisonic definitely isn't like my other rotating brushes that I have (I have an L'Oreal one too) and it feels different).

I do this too, most of the time. Actually most of the time it's just water. I'm usually too lazy to use the clarisonic. (But I do wash my hands with soap all the time). My skin does best left alone for the most part at this point in my life. |
